MakerGirl

MakerGirl is working to bridge the gender gap in STEM through providing educational sessions to girls across the country led by high school and university ChangeMakers. Since its founding in 2014, MakerGirl has educated almost 5,000 girls in 28 states with half from underrepresented and rural communities.They have created a movement of makers with three different models: University Academies, #MakerGirlGoesMobile, and online curriculum. MakerGirl is on a mission to educate 10,000 students and establish 10 MakerGirl Academies by 2023. 

 

Preemadonna and MakerGirl have partnered since 2015 through events, workshops, mentorship and financial sponsorship. 

JustGirlProject

The Just Girl Project goal is to empower girls to express themselves and pursue their dreams. We believe that artistic expression is one of the most valuable forms of self-care. Many of us struggle with our mental health, body image, and much more. We're here to relate, inspire, and challenge you. Know that every girl has the potential to change the world. Do not let society (or that silly voice in your head!) tell you any different. You are beautiful, loved, and capable.

 

Preemadonna was introduced to JustGirlProject by Ilana Harkavy and is proud to partner with JustGirlProject for Nailbot launch.

As we've developed and prototyped Nailbot and other inventions since 2014, we've shared our product development process and mentored other young creators across STEM and STEAM focused schools, tech camps, troops and conventions.
