Like a lot of people, I’m into the hype of Pokemon Go. It’s not only a fun game, but it gets the player to go out and explore the world around them. (Not to mention it helps me get my daily steps in.)
Now most people only see Pokemon Go as a fad, but I see it as much more than that. As a pretty big gamer myself, Pokemon Go is doing something many other video games have failed at; bridging the gender gap.
Hi Preemadonnas! I’m Stella, I’m 19 years old, and I’m currently studying Computer Science at the University of Pennsylvania as well as interning for Preemadonna this summer! Right now, I’m doing tech-y things in college (tons of programming), but I’m also super into design and art. In the future, I hope to combine both programming and design and work in a field like UI/UX design or web development!
This July, Preemadonna was lucky enough to meet at the Garage as well as with the Digital Media Academy on Northwestern’s campus in Evanston Illinois. The Garage is a space where startup companies can build and learn from each other in a workspace environment. Preemadonna was able to speak in front of their Summer Accelerator which included several early-based student startups. A group of DMA students were also able to attend Preemadonna’s presentation at the Garage. DMA is an organization that holds STEM based learning programs for young students in the area.
Hello fellow Preemadonnas!
My name is Rohini Pandhi - I'm an advisor to Preemadonna and excited to share my personal journey with you. I was born just outside of Mumbai, India. My family emigrated to the U.S. when I was 3 years old, and I grew up next to cornfields in a sleepy Ohio town. So while my ethnic background is Indian, I identify as an American from the Midwest. I correctly refer to soda as “pop” and am prone to altitude sickness at the slightest sight of a hill.
My name is Sommar Veverka and I am a Preemadonna. As a Preemadonna, I am reminded that I can do anything I set my mind to.

Hi everyone, my name is Caitlyn Deegan and I am the new Ambassador Manager for Preemadonna. I am going into my junior year at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign as a Materials Engineer. I am also a MakerGirl. I have been working with the nonprofit, MakerGirl, for about a year and a half now so I am an avid promoter of STEM especially for women. Through this experience, I was lucky enough to meet the Preemadonna team and I instantly fell in love with them and the Nailbot. I am extremely excited to start my journey with this company!
