Disassembling things is one of my favourite activities! I love to see how things work. I began tearing into various electronics at a young age. Now, that wasn't originally a pretty process! Marne, our amazing community manager, has pushed me to share advice with all of you Preemadonnas on how to master July 4th festive nail art. Maker Faire is called the "Greatest Show and Tell on Earth" and I can’t think of a better way to describe the experience. This year as a Preemadonna co-founder, alongside my partner, Pree, I participated as a booth attendant for Maker Faire Bay Area 2015 instead of just a regular participant. It gives a different perspective.

I am a student of history. I learn through real world tales of extraordinary triumphs and heartbreaks.
At 29 in 2012, I was on an uncharted path. I had nothing (so I perceived) ‘tying’ me down – no children, boyfriend, employer, or huge responsibility. Instead, I had a crazy idea. I wanted to build a nail painting robot.
This robot, “The Nailbot”, would eventually define the next two and half years of my life (and counting).
