Female Founders Invent the Nailbot – The Robot That Decorates Fingernails!
Preemadonna has invented the Nailbot. The Nailbot is a patent-pending intelligent device that automatically decorates nails from a smartphone! Through the Nailbot and our mobile platform, Preemadonna empowers women and girls to creatively express themselves anytime and anywhere.
Preemadonna is debuting the Nailbot at the demo day of Haxlr8r, the world’s original hardware accelerator, on May 11th, 2015 in San Francisco, CA. Gracie, the first Nailbot, allows girls to select art on Preemadonna’s mobile app, “swipe” their finger to decorate for instant, customized nail art, and share their creations with their social networks.
Preemadonna is led by passionate female founders, Pree Walia and Casey Schulz.
Pree Walia is the CEO and a co-founder at Preemadonna. Previously, Pree worked for early stage hardware start-ups in Silicon Valley, raised capital for progressive causes and prominent politicians, and has an MBA from the University of Chicago.
Casey Schulz is the Head of Product and a co-founder at Preemadonna. Casey has systems engineering experience building quadcopters, satellites, cartesian robots and small motion control systems, and holds an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
Preemadonna’s mission is to empower women and girls with technology that is relevant to their lifestyle, to make them feel both smart and beautiful, and provide a platform to design, create and invent together. The Nailbot will be offered for commercial release later in 2015.
